Jamil (24) is a Turkish and African American filmmaker/photographer originally from Kaiserslautern, Germany. His older sister gave him a boxy, old camera in the 7th grade and never looked back. He grew up speaking three different languages and lived in thirteen different homes, eleven years spent in Germany.

Upon graduating business school from Florida A&M University and a couple Wall Street stockbroker gigs under his belt, Jamil jumped into the advertising and film industry. He started out at Saatchi & Saatchi as a production coordinator, then moved over to Droga5 and spent the two years working as a producer.

He is 1/2 of a filmmaking duo called Jamil & Pat and resides in Brooklyn, NY.
